From the definition above, there are 3 categories of a noun:
1. Person 2. Place 3. Thing
There are 2 types of Nouns
1. Common Nouns (Names)
2. Proper Nouns (Names)
Characteristics of PROPER NOUNS (NAMES)
1. It may be a proper name of Person, Place or a Thing
2. It begins with a capital letter.
Examples:
Muhammad, Islam, Shariah, Jesus, Makkah, Qur’an

ALLAH (swt)
The proper Name of the One and Only True God worthy of worship.
What are the Tagalog articles which can be used for Proper Names?
“Si” or “Ang”
Let us first discuss the Tagalog article
“SI”
This article has no equivalent in Arabic and English.
It is usually or normally omitted.
The Tagalog Article - “Si”
is used to determine and to distinguish that the object being referred to is a;
Human Being!
