assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh bro,

alhamdulillah, there is a hadith of the Prophet, sas, that when the last word of a muslim before he dies is "la ilaha illa Allah" then he will enter jannah.

so burying him in any way doesnt matter anyway, except that a muslim will have unpleasant experience when burried in un-islamic way because they usually remove the internal organs during the embalming procedure and he will stay for days in the coffin being viewed by everybody, then when finally buried in non-muslim grave he will likewise feel the heat in that area.

so it is very important for a muslim to inform his family as soon as possible about his becoming a muslim and introduce as well his muslim brothers to the family so whenever death happens they can prepare his islamic burial, inshaAllah.

whatever happens to anybody afterwards, whether he is going to jannah or stay in hell fire for sometime or forever is for Allah to decide, so we'll leave it upto HIM alone, believing that HE will not oppress anyone in the least.

our part is only to seek HIS forgiveness and repent and then obey and continually repent hoping for HIS Mercy and fearing for HIS punishment.

and the best words of repentance is " la ilaha illah Allah"

and "muhammad is the servant and messenger of Allah"
