Assalamu alaykum!Iagree with you Brother Ibrahim,sapagkat ang dahilan kung bakit natin tinatakpan ang "awrah" ng isang bababae kung siya ay nasa labas ng tahanan o kung mayroong nakapaligid na hindi niya "mahram" ay upang maiwasan ang makatukso lalao na roon sa mga lalaki na mayroong"sakit sa kanilang puso".Kaya't kung hindi susundin ang mga batayan sa kasuotan na iyong sinabi,ay anong silbi ng pagtatakip kung ito ay makatawag pansin rin naman?Isipin na lamang ang mga kausotan na nandito sa pahinang ito,with no offense meant sa nag-post,kung ito ay isusuot sa labas ng bahay,anong klaseng paghanga ang makukuha sa makakakita?at hind bat ang nais natin ay "takpan" ang ating kagandahan na tanging ang ating asawa lamang ang may karapatan na makita ito?Huwag nating hayaan na may mga lalaki na humanga sa atin at pagkatapos pag-uwi sa kanilang bahay ay ikukumpara ang kanliang mga asawa sa kagandahan o hubog ng katawan na nakita nila mula sa atin,dahil kapag nangyari iyon,"fitnah" ang ating naidulot.Audhu billah!

alhamdulillah Islam is a complete religion having guidance for all aspects of life.

yes awrah must be covered yet proper covering for the awrah especially of women has 5 requirements:
1. it should not be transparent nor translucent so as others can see through it
2. it should not be tight fit so as to see the shapes and curves of the body
3. it should not be glamorous and attractive in style and color so as not to attract the opposite sex
4. it should not resemble the opposite sex's clothing
5. it should not resemble that of the unbelievers, such as their symbols like cross, etc

the best outer garment that passes these requirements is the black abaya.

women are designed by Allah as a gift to men, so no matter what fashion they wear they are still attractive, and if a man wants more attraction from a woman then it must be exclusively for her husband inside the private walls of the house away from the eyes of other men, especially the non-mahram men.

only then the wife can have her best makeup & lipstick, best perfume, best attire and fashion with see throughs or body fits and most glamorous color or the most exotic style that will intensely inflame the desire of her husband to his satisfaction.

but outside the attraction must be at the most minimum level so as to make her protected from the desires of other men and get more respect as well and be identified as a modest believing woman as prescribed in suratun nur 31.

may Allah make our women strong and be able to cover their awrah properly to eran the pleasure of Allah , ameen

I like women who can maintain modesty and fashion at the same time. I think we can cover our aura without using the black abaya while doing our shopping/malling.
