Our Organization
Al Salaam International Association Inc. is a non-profit, non-stock organization duly registered with Securities and Exchange Commission, Republic of the Philippines; which aims to support the New Filipino Muslims by strengthening their faith in Allah through assistance in Islamic Education, charitable activities, promoting better understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims and establishing a Muslim Community in the Philippines.

Vision
Al Salaam aims to become an exemplary and unifying Islamic Organization both in Qatar and in the Philippines that contributes to the religous and social empowerment of Filipino Muslims.

Mission
The organization's mission is to support the new Filipino Muslims in Qatar and their families in the Philippines by establishing Muslim Communities, Islamic Education Centers, Mosques and Livelihood Projects. Through the development of Muslim Communities, numerous opportunities shall arise such as educational, social and commercial programs that will be beneficial to the society as a whole.

Our Objectives
* To promote, advocate, initiate programs which will strengthen the faith of Filipino Muslims such as Islamic research, publication and the performing of pilgrimage (Hajj and Umrah).
*To encourage and/or undertake the continuing Islamic education of Filipino Muslim children and adults.
*To cooperate with and assist local and international organizations in launching charitable activities which will be beneficial to Muslims.
*To establish mosques, Islamic centers and Islamic communities which will strengthen the fraternal bonds of Muslims and present Islam as a peaceful and harmonious way of life.
*To aid in developing small and medium scale enterprises and livelihood projects for Filipino Muslims which will educate them about the importance of entrepreneurship and economic progress.

How You Can Help
The organization is presently gathering Islamic books in Qatar to be distributed in the Philippines in time for the month of Ramadan 1430 H. If you happen to be in Qatar, you may bring your Islamic books to the recreation room of the Qatar Islamic Cultural Center every Friday at 11:00 AM on the 5th floor.
