"Invite (all) to the way of your Rabb (Only God, Cherisher and Sustainer) with wisdom and beautiful preaching ; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious, for your Rabb knows best, who have strayed from His path, and who recieve guidance." (16:125)
Permalink Reply by Pionit Garansang on June 18, 2011 at 5:16pm First, the current New Testament or Bagong Tipan is not the "injeel" or gospel mentioned in the Holy Quran. It is our belief that we believe in previous books revealed to other prophets of Allah peace be upon them all. But these books are not preserved, hence the necessity of updating them with the next prophet having an updated book from Allah. Jesus speaks in Aramaic, yet the NT is in Greek. One example that the even the gospels are not preserved is this verse: "And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him." (Matthew 9:9). So even Matthew did not write Matthew!
This prophetic series ended with the Last Prophet and Final Messenger of Allah on whom may be peace with the Last Testament, the Holy Quran. With this in mind, it must follow that there would be some basic teachings or verses on those books that contain the Message of Allah that was completed and finalized in Islam. I will give some few examples of the message still preserved in the NT which basically conforms to Islam.
From beginning to end, Allah's Message is PURE MONOTHEISM, ONENESS OF GOD, which is in Arabic TAWHEED. As He says in the Holy Quran: "...He is Allah, the One and Only..." Sura 112:1. Is this message found in the New Testament? The answer is resounding YES! Read Mark 12:29 "...The Lord our God is one Lord...".
Are there some others? Yes! How does Jesus on whom may be peace call his God? Is it "Father" or "Abb" or any weird-sounding names? No! He calls God similar to Muslims, "Eli" or "Eloi". This verse in the NT is the ONLY one not translated into Greek and is in its original Aramaic language exactly as said by Jesus peace be upon him. Here is the verse: "...Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?". God has his own wise and unique way of preserving Truth, of which is His name. No Bible translator dare removed this phrase "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani" which is very similar to the Arabic "Allah, Allah lema taraktani".
On salvation, Jesus peace be upon him says that the way to salvation is belief in one God (Mark 12:29) and doing good deeds by "keeping the commandments" (Matthew 19:17), doing extra righteousness (Matthew 5:20) and of course repentance (Matthew 4:17). This is exactly the same belief in Islam - belief in one God, doing righteous deeds and repentance.

Permalink Reply by Son of Abraham on June 27, 2011 at 1:26pm Yeah contradictions were there maybe... because people from Islam don't believe. But to those who understands the Holy Bible from Islam would never entertain the manipulative literature of the Word Islam. I said manipulation because it is written by one person and had never been relayed from ages. For that means indeed it is a reality handed down from generation to generation and that means authenticity because it has never been manipulated by one author. It is not manipulated by one person. Have a research and see a lot of our brother Muslims who embraces Christianity for their eyes were opened by the promised Holy Spirit. This is called faith for we believe on things that are unseen... beyond humans eyes vision.
Though, we love lives of the people. If we may learn that some of our Christian brethren were converted to Islam? We never kill them, yet we pray for them for we love God's creation... we never judge by punishment of death. Their maybe a lot of converts to Islam, BUT take note they were not real Christians, they are Catholics who only hears the homily each Sunday and the activist commentaries of priests... who loves committing spiritual fornication in bowing down with those idols. (And we do pray for the rest that they may see the light of Christ.) I never heard of a Christian who had been converted to Islam, for once the people of God were enlightened by the Holy Spirit... they would never let go of their faith.
If Islam is in the truth??? Why would they strangle and persecute our Christian brothers in Malaysia??? And to the rest of the Arab countries??? THAT IS NOT REALITY AND TRUTH!!! THAT IS COMMUNISM!!! ANTI-LIFE!!! MURDER!!! How can you say then that it is reality? Who are we to judge others? That only means that those people who do such are senseless, inhuman. WE WERE NOT MADE TO JUDGE OUR FELLOWS. Christianity believes that we could never judge anyone, it is only God and not us...HUMAN. We should love one another. Reality means love and not killing people. ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS MY BELOVED, WITHOUT LOVE WE DON'T HAVE GOD. I AM NOT CONVINCED THAT ALLAH IS PUSHING US TO KILL SOMEONE IF OUR BROTHERS ARE LOST IN THE RIGHT TRACK, IF WE DO SO? THEN WE DON'T HAVE ANY DIFFERENCE WITH SATAN, WHO CAME ON EARTH TO KILL AND TO STEAL. I HOPE YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE!
There is a church in Metro Manila, a big church... this was financed by one of our brother Muslim from Riyadh a pure Arab in blood, who had been enlightened by the Holy Spirit and is now enjoying the Christian life through the Holy Spirit as promised. May you discover Jesus Christ as they did.
Peace be with you.

If someone claims that the Bible is authentic, then he has to prove it.
If a book in which its authorship is unknown, then on what logical basis he calls that authentic?
That needs to be answered.
Thanks

Permalink Reply by ibrahim on June 27, 2011 at 9:54pm from which authentic source of Islam did you read that the muslims should kill their muslim brothers who lost from the right track?
actually that is exactly found only in the Bible, to kill those who worship other gods, and other people who were not from the children of israel.
my next question is, do you know yusuf estes?(www.yusufestes.com) he was a former christian preacher, not a catholic.
dont say that the christians who reverted back to Islam (because Islam is the original religion of all humans from birth- that is they submit to the will of their Creator) are only catholics because many are coming from several christian faith who reverted back to submit to the Creator that is Islam in Arabic.
if you are talking about the holy spirit who guides the christians, then all christians claim to have been guided by the holy spirit yet they all have different beliefs.
some christians believe that the Bible has 73books and some others believe it has only 66books. some christians believe in trinity others dont, some christians believe that saturday is a sacred day of worship and others sunday, som christians believe that jesus is god and son of God, others believe that Jesus is only a prophet and son of man (in the person of Marry) not of God, etc. my question is: which christian is truely guided by the holy spirit?

May Allah be pleased with all our brothers who participated in this very informative discussion. I myself learned a lot. It is good reading from page 1 to the last. I highly recommend this discussion to all our bro and sis who have just embraced Islam.
Even that portion when our Brother (via Adam and Eve) "Son of Abraham" joined in. He reminds me of who I was before I embraced Islam: I was blind (I don't read anything that will attack the bible), I was deaf (I don't listen to anybody who disagrees with my faith), I was dumb (ironically, I am very intelligent in school so I knew everything about Catholicism), and I was very proud (I am saved by the blood of Jesus and I am going to heaven). This memory makes me cry.

In my view,New testaments are compilations of ''according to words''from Gospels of John,Matthew,Paul and Luke...both 4 people didn't met Jesus the son of Mary.in his life and teaching(may peace be upon him) A heresay from the past between 40 to 80 years after the prophet Jesus ascend to heaven... I believed contradictions occurs with these 4 so called christian scholar...The Injeel(Gospels) given to Jesus(pbuh) and prior to the other books with respected prophets in their time are same law...To submitted Only to One God...
Therefore, I don't believe in New testaments because of it's lots of contradictions...''The words of God almighty is in the Gospels of Jesus, the son of maryam(Pbuh)..
Permalink Reply by WhiteJewel on May 17, 2012 at 10:23am Dear Brother Hinggo,
Try to differentiate between "words of Allah" and "supposed word of Allah".
As we have explained before, there is no single word of Allah s.w.t.in the Bible though many bible passages still conform to the Quran. Those bible passages that still conform with the Quran are the remnants of the original message of the previous Prophets, but they are not word of Allah PER SE.
Try to understand also the difference between the "word of Allah per se" and the translation of the "supposed word of Allah".
