APOSTASY IN ISLAM
totoo ba na pag ang isang muslim ay tumiwalag sa islam e ayon sa islamic laws hinahatulan ng parusang kamatayan!? ano ba ang sinasabi ng mga ulama tungkol dito. sa babae naman e pagkakulong hanggang yumakap muli sa islam. dahil me mga ibang madhab iba-iba opinyon tungkol sa isyu nito.

islam means to submit and surrender to The Creator, a muslim is a person who submits and surrenders to The Creator. so if a muslim decides to leave Islam, means decides not to submit nor surrender, what does it mean? it is rebellion to The Creator.
in the Bible the penalty of rebelion to God The Creator is death, please read exodus 32:19-29, Leviticus 20:1-8 &27, Deuteronomy 13:5-14, because in turning back away from the submission and surrender to God Almighty and worship HIS creature is the greatest crime a person could do against his Creator who created him, who provided him all that he needs inorder to live in the world that God had created also for him, such as life, air, water, food, parents, etc, that if you wish to count them all you can never count all these blessings.
even in the law of the country, not all offenses or crime is punishable of death. one can cross the red lights, one can cheat or steal yet the punishment is only imprisonment or fine. but if one rebells or turn back from allegiance to his own country such as making allegiance to the enemy of his own country will forfeit his life, because that is treason that is punishable of death.
in Islam, when a person decides to leave Islam, for as long as he does not destroy the image of Islam some scholars do not require a death penalty. during the time of the Prophet, some muslims apostate and stolen some properties and also killed some muslims so they were punished of cutting their limbs for stealing and death becuase of murder, and not for apostassy.
that is why the advice of Allah in the Qur'an is for the Muslims to remain as Muslim until he dies(la tamawtonna illa wa antom muslimoon- dont die except you are a muslim-meaning remain a muslim until your last breath) because being in Islam, means being a muslim is best for a human, and leaving Islam is worst for him. so no matter how sinful a muslim is, he can always repent and turn back in obedience because ALLAH is of-forgiving and Most Merciful, but dont leave Islam nor apostate, because that is treason against The Creator.
if you understand very well the meaning of Islam as submission and surrender to the Creator and worship HIM alone, what then will you expect is a person leaves Islam? it means he will submit and surrender to the creature and worship this creature. because there are only two choices for any human: either to submit to the Creator or to HIS creature, to worship The Creator or HIS creature, which do you think is better?
in worshipping the creature is evil for any humans to do, it is destructive to himself alone, no benefit but punishment only even until the Hereafter.
may ALLAH guide us alll ameen in HIS right path, to the path of those who gained HIS blessings, favor&and mercy and not to the ways of those who gained HIS anger and to those hwo went astray, ameen

To quote from the Quran Itself: "There is no complusion in religion" Quran 2:256
Quran 5: 32 ...that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind....
